「Worlds」はリーグ・オブ・レジェンドのその年の世界チャンピオンを決める大会。世界各地の地域リーグを勝ち上がったトップ22チームが集結する。大会はプレイインステージ、グループステージ、ノックアウトステージの3つのステージに分けて実施。ノックアウトステージまで勝ち残った全8チームがBO5のシングルイリミネーション（敗者復活なし）形式で準々決勝、準決勝、そして決勝で競い合う。
